Pennsylvania sports betting
Opportunities for gambling have increased a lot in Pennsylvania in the last decade. Pennsylvania was known as a state which stood against casino gaming. But now it has more than 10 licensed casinos where games are played regularly.
In 1992 an act was passed known as The Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act (PASP). The purpose of which was to manage and define the legality of sports betting in the United States. It imposed a ban on all kinds of sports betting in the USA except for a few states.
